WE were outside at 4:37 in the morning. A cold dark sky in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas is as pretty as it gets. The roosters were crowing down the road. Other roosters were responding.  Beautiful. The dogs were doing a security check.

Inside before sleep caught my eyes thoughts about ZZ TOP and FOGHAT on the same ticket tickled the mind. It giggled with glee!

Imagine a concert like that!

He hinted January 6 MAGA TERRORISTS would be pardoned if he comes back into power in 2024. WE hope the bigot billionaire goes to jail.

BUTTERFLIES ARE BETTER THAN BIGOTS

The National Butterfly Center in Mission, Texas announced it would be closed becsuse of credible threats from a former state official. This state official is linked to a pro-Trump that is holding a rally nearby.

Trumpistas are still sore about Donald Trump not winning re-election in 2020 when he was defeated by Joe Biden.

Remember they attempted a coup on January 6, 2021.  Thankfully it failed.

Hero's mama cat has a new kitten on the roof.  He looks like Hero and he runs playfully on the roof too.

He was on the ground briefly yesterday afternoon which can be dangerous since OUR dogs are cat killers.

It is drizzling on the Dublin Ranch in Mission, Texas.

A gentle drizzle today. It was a cold day but not miserable like yesterday! WE took the dogs for a walk. Spotted some rabbits. Blueberry and the pack did not catch one. They had tons of fun being out there! My CRI Genetics DNA results are in my email. WE will check them out tonight! It should be fun and interesting!

Security is ramped up at the Dublin Ranch in Mission, Texas. The few enemies WE have may try to break in! WE will soon begin excavating on premises. Uncle Joe buried something in the eastern quadrant. Great Grandma Anastacia buried something in the northwest sector! What is it with the maternal side of the family? Supposedly OUR maternal grandfather had been a 17 year old Member of Pancho Villa's army. Family fable? Far flung fantasy? Shovel Ready!

TOWN N COUNTRY STORE IN MCALLEN, TEXAS SCORES HIGH GONZO MARKS

One of Of OUR bloggers told US a story about how kind, considerate and customer friendly excellent the folks at TOWN N COUNTRY CONVENIENCE STORE in McAllen, Texas are.

OUR rookie blogger's neighbor is an Irish elderly man. He could not travel to the luckiest store in Texas to purchase 7 dollars worth of lottery tickets.

Mr. Murray went snail mail and got his tickets. He mailed in $10.

The folks sent him $14 of tickets!  This generous gesture brought tough Mr. Sean Patrick Murray to tears!

Thank you Ms.Tina Noser and your wonderful staff!

You made a Son Of Ireland very happy!

JUKEBOX JAM: "AND WE DANCED" BY THE HOOTERS

It was after 2 A.M.  Back in 1986. WE cruised up to McAllen, Texas from Mission, Texas. Out of Tom Landry's hometown to the City Of Palms for some Mexican food at a 24/7 Mexican restaurant called Cuevas. The food was extremely delicioso there.

They had a killer jukebox. WE are jukebox world champions. Four songs for a dollar.

The last song was considered the best of the 4.  That early morning it was "And We Danced" by THE HOOTERS.

A great tune!

It still holds up quite well!
