THE END OF 2021

The last day of 2021 was windy and warm. A sucky year will close. The death of OUR brother tore US up. WE had him on OUR minds ws WE had OUR end of year pizza party. "L.A. Woman" by THE DOORS was one of Roger's favorite tunes. WE played it. WE wish y'all a Happy New Year! May it be

safe, healthy and be free of suffering.

THE LAST WATERMELON OF 2021

Today WE brought in the last watermelon of 2021 from the field here in subtropical South Texas.  It feels like Summer here in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas.

Autumn is absent.

The watermelon was slightly sweet.  WE are keeping the seeds. 

There are at least two plants that are flowering. 

WE do not think they have a shot at producing.
