HACKBERY AND 10TH STREET WITH HUCK 2

WE ran across an old business card to the ATHENA ÇOFFEE HOUSE that was on Hackberry and 10th Street in McAllen, Texas in the early 2000s. WE would get OUR java fix there during lunch. The baristas looked like bad girls. A brunette about 5 feet 9 inches and a fiery redhead at 5 feet 2 inches. They were into indie rock and were pretty cool. You could talk to them. One day WE hit the Athena for an iced coffee and to use one of their computers. A dude walks in and chats with the redhead. The next thing you know they are going at it kissing! She pushes him away and says "I can't! I have a boyfriend!" I wonder if Cinnamon would've liked "Star" by HUCK 2. Chances are YES. Forget Starbucks! ATHENA ROCKED!
