NOVEMBER IS NAZARETH MONTH

It was back in Jumior High when I was introduced to NAZARETH. I had never heard of tbe Scottish rock band. The introduction was made by my best friend who was from Chicago. His mom worked at a rock station up there. Jeff's parents had divorced. He and his two older siblings had come to live with their grandparents in the Rio Grande Valley. Bsck in the late 1970s snd 1980s WE fid not have Spotify nor Youtube. WE were exposed to new music via magazines, wkrd of mouth, TV, radio and the RCA Music Club. You got something like 10 artists for 99 cents on the RCA Music Club. Each month you got a colorful catalog in the mail. Order from it. Jeff got me into it. He suggested NAZARETH. I soon had a large 8-Track collection and later a cassette one too. I had enough to start a radio station. Or so I thought. I liked NAZARETH from the get-go. So here WE are in the 21st century kicking off NAZARETH Month with "My White Bicycle"!
