THR OUTFIELD was a killer power trio that found a home in my heart and mind back in the late 1980s. This band had a home run sound with songs that were World Series Caliber. "Your Love" and "Since You've Been Gone" were on the airwaves. Both were from their debut album entitled "PLAY DEEP". They still sound great. I remember my Army Reserve buddy coming back from lunch with a toothpick in his mouth singing "Your Love" abd telling me how great the album was. John was the guy who serenaded the new female unit member with Def Leppard's "Bringin' On The Heartbreak". On one knee. John took his life in 1988. u was cryshed.
