Growing up listening to hard rock before the internet was something else. Rok magazines, word of mouth, radio, news and TV introduced you to new bands. My friends in school teased me because I listened to LINDA. RONSTADT. I didn't care. I Love Ronstadt! I once dreamt I went to one of her concerts. A few years ago the dream true! I saw her at The Villa Real in McAllen,Texas went she was singing Rancheras. Spectacular!

THE POWER OF THREE:. THE OUTFIELD

THR OUTFIELD was a killer power trio that found a home in my heart and mind back in the late 1980s. This band had a home run sound with songs that were World Series Caliber. "Your Love" and "Since You've Been Gone" were on the airwaves. Both were from their debut album entitled "PLAY DEEP". They still sound great. I remember my Army Reserve buddy coming back from lunch with a toothpick in his mouth singing "Your Love" abd telling me how great the album was. John was the guy who serenaded the new female unit member with Def Leppard's "Bringin' On The Heartbreak". On one knee. John took his life in 1988. u was cryshed. He had giveb me so much great advice and encouragement. These tunes remund of ehat a great fruend he was. Songs and Songwriting matter. Here you go John Duncan.

There definitely is something magical and special about power trios. They are more cohesive. They work harder, punch with more force and bring the rock! THE WARNING are in that vein! The band members feel and live their passion and power! The music moves them and their fans! They put out that raw energy and the fans receive it. They then send it back to the band making them more potent! It is Outstanding Rock! It brings so much joy! Thank You. "Z" is a savage ride of incredible adrenaline flowing through the soul!

I still need to replace her "2112" album that she had in 8-Track! The player tried to eat the tape. I was horrified! I could not fix it! You always knew a RUSH album wiuld be epic! "The Temples Of Syrinx" blew my mind the first time I heard it! It still fascinates!

I haven't looked back and the band has never disappointed! A shy soldier in my Army Reserve unit back in the 1980s even serenaded a new female member with an Acapella version! Talk about first impressions! The power of music!
