THE END OF 2021

The last day of 2021 was windy and warm. A sucky year will close. The death of OUR brother tore US up. WE had him on OUR minds ws WE had OUR end of year pizza party. "L.A. Woman" by THE DOORS was one of Roger's favorite tunes. WE played it. WE wish y'all a Happy New Year! May it be

safe, healthy and be free of suffering.

SUPERMARINE ON A HOT TEXAS WINTER DAY

Winter in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas means you can have a cookout 5 days after Christmas! It is 83 degrees Fahrenheit and feels like 86! That Is WILD! Go Solar Power! Music Wise GO with a rock band from Wales known as SUPERMARINE! WE suggest 'Decadent Flowers"! Their strong rock sound powers a vibe that drives your spirit into a mindset where you are juiced and ready to conquer all manner of negativity! The vocals knife away at all of today's blahness. THE LAST WATERMELON OF 2021

Today WE brought in the last watermelon of 2021 from the field here in subtropical South Texas.  It feels like Summer here in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas.

Autumn is absent.

The watermelon was slightly sweet.  WE are keeping the seeds. 

There are at least two plants that are flowering. 

WE do not think they have a shot at producing.

One of Of OUR bloggers told US a story about how kind, considerate and customer friendly excellent the folks at TOWN N COUNTRY CONVENIENCE STORE in McAllen, Texas are.

OUR rookie blogger's neighbor is an Irish elderly man. He could not travel to the luckiest store in Texas to purchase 7 dollars worth of lottery tickets.

Mr. Murray went snail mail and got his tickets. He mailed in $10.

The folks sent him $14 of tickets!  This generous gesture brought tough Mr. Sean Patrick Murray to tears!

Thank you Ms.Tina Noser and your wonderful staff!

You made a Son Of Ireland very happy!

Mr. Murray says "May GOD give you all more."

DOMAIN.COM DISAPPOINTS

WE gave domain.com a shot. Registering a domain name was easy. It used to be you could pay per year. Now it seems biannual is the norm. Not bad WE thought. Then WE hit a nasty bump on the cyber road when WE tried to apply OUR domain name on OUR blogger.com site. Two different responses from customer service! One rep wanted an IP address. WE got the info. The second CSR wanted US to upgrade by paying 13 bucks and change pet month in order to help out US! WE informed him WE paid for 2 years! He offered to pay for US. WE declined. Very Disappointing. Zero Gonzo Marks.

WE decided to take a DNA test to see where OUR ancestors came from!

Curiousity motivated US. Plus Dad mentioned he had a French great grandma. WE thought he was joking. He was not!

WE went with CRI Genetics.

CHRISTMAS PIZZA

It will be a quiet Christmas this year. OUR brother passed away on August 30, 2021. Nothing is going back to normal. The pain and sorrow are still fresh. Roy was 54 years old. He had a heart condition. WE will probably go with a pizza for Christmas Lunch GOD-Willing.

 Today Aunt Alice would have turned 90 years old.

She passed away 7 years ago.

WE greatly miss her.

UBER EATS GETS IT RIDE

WE found OURSELVES in a bind. WE could not leave the ranch to pick up some burgers because the reliable truck was acting funny. WE just did not want to chance it being short handed.

WE decided to enlist the help of UBER EATS. The folks that can get you places also deliver meals from local eateries.

WE did not know what to expect.

WE were pleasantly pleased with their excellent service.  This company had a leg up on the competition. They provide a ride along service that is highly effective.

How could they not do the same with meal delivery?

They do!

The Big Plus is you can use their services via their website!  They do not force you to use their application! Good On Them!

JUKEBOX JAM: "AND WE DANCED" BY THE HOOTERS

It was after 2 A.M.  Back in 1986. WE cruised up to McAllen, Texas from Mission, Texas. Out of Tom Landry's hometown to the City Of Palms for some Mexican food at a 24/7 Mexican restaurant called Cuevas. The food was extremely delicioso there.

They had a killer jukebox. WE are jukebox world champions. Four songs for a dollar.

The last song was considered the best of the 4.  That early morning it was "And We Danced" by THE HOOTERS.

A great tune!

It still holds up quite well!
