MONKEY WRENCH

I never make huge plans because you never know what monkey wrench will hit you on the head! A month or two ago a seed catalog came in the mail. It was my late brother's yearly issue. WE had wanted to order seeds but never did. This year I PLANNED to do so. Monkey Wrench! My 2 evil uncles are throwing my 93 year old Mom and i off the land where WE have lived for 49 years. They want to sell the property. Greed over compassion suits them fine. Dad for years had wanted to move. Mom's youngest sister had convinced her dad to allow his 5 grandkids, Mom and Dad to move into an empty small house on this land. Aunt Eduarda was 23 in 1973. I was 10. WE as kids were thrilled to get the opportunity to live here. WE for years wiuld visit grandma and grandpa in the country. We would run all over with his dogs. Hours of fun on those countless weekends. It was a welcome trip from living on a citrus farm hand's brick home. The wooden house was not that bad in 1973. This house has been more loyal to OUR family than OUR greedy arrogant uncles in their 70s. So no planting this year. Please say a prayer for US.
